CAT Execution

The CAT MES is your central EDP application for production. It represents an IT map of the information flows present in the business processes found in production. The collected data forms the basis for a business analysis of production and all its events, and provides information regarding the progress of production orders.

For production employees, this MES replaces the shift and/or machine logbooks that previously had to be maintained by hand. CAT creates transparency in the production process and provides a central view of all data accumulated during it. Its integration into Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is an important basis behind this. Our Cross-Application Tool (CAT) represents a comprehensive, complete MES solution. Developed on the basis of SAP NetWeaver, CAT was designed according to the principles of a service-oriented architecture (SOA).

Once embedded into your SAP system environment, CAT ensures complete traceability in regard to all units used, including paper machines, gluing machines, re-reelers, spreaders, reel cutters, embossers, sheet cutters, guillotines, ream wrappers, converters, manual equipment, roll packing machines, format packing machines, etc., – for every single step going from the reel to your finished product.
